What does the Impulse oversized t-shirt size chart actually measure?
It measures the garment, not your body. Chest is armpit to armpit, multiplied by two. Length is the high-shoulder point to the hem. Shoulder is seam to seam. Values are centimetres first, inches in brackets, because packaged commodities in India are declared in metric units.

How do you measure chest and length at home?
Lay a favourite tee flat on a bed. Smooth the wrinkles. Chest: measure straight across from armpit seam to armpit seam, then double it. Length: measure from where the shoulder meets the neck, down the front, to the hem. Shoulder: seam to seam across the back. Write the three numbers in cm. That is your personal chart.

What size should lean and plus-size buyers pick?

When should you size down on a drop-shoulder tee?
Size down when your own tee’s chest is between two rows and you want the graphic to read from the front. Size up when you want the hem closer to mid-fly and you will wear it untucked over cargos. The drop-shoulder already adds width. You do not need to add a letter on top of that unless the centimetres say so.
Between M (102 cm) and L (107 cm)? If you tuck or French-tuck, take M. If you wear the God Has a Plan back print and want the cross to hang clean, take L so the back panel is wider. Back prints need width more than chest prints do.

What if the size is still wrong after you follow the chart?
Exchange it in 7 days. Unused, unwashed, tags on. That window exists because a phone and a tape are not a fitting room. Email the order number to hello@impulseshop.in. Do not wait for the fabric to “relax.” Cotton does not become a different size in the cupboard.
