1. Who we are (Data Fiduciary)

2. Personal data we collect
We collect only what is needed to sell apparel to you in India:
- Identity and contact: name, email, mobile number, shipping and billing address (including PIN code and state).
- Order and payment: order history, GST invoice details, and payment reference from our payment partner (Razorpay). We do not store your full card number, UPI PIN, or CVV.
- Account: login credentials (stored hashed), wishlist, and size preferences.
- Technical: IP address, device/browser type, and cookies required for cart, login, and security.
We do not knowingly collect personal data of children under 18. This shop is intended for adults in India.
3. Purpose and lawful basis (DPDP Act)
We process personal data for: fulfilling orders; GST invoicing; shipping; customer support and grievance redressal; fraud prevention; and, only with your consent, promotional email/SMS/WhatsApp. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time by writing to us or using the unsubscribe link.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with:
- Payment aggregators (e.g. Razorpay) to collect payment in INR.
- Logistics partners to deliver your order within India.
- IT/hosting providers who process data on our instructions in India or as permitted under the DPDP Act.
- Government authorities when required by law (including GST, consumer, or cybercrime requests).
5. Cookies
Essential cookies keep your cart and login session. Analytics cookies, if used, are optional. You can control cookies in your browser; blocking essential cookies may stop checkout from working.
6. Retention and security
We keep order and invoice records for the period required under GST and company law (generally 8 years for tax records). Account data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure to handle disputes. We use reasonable security safeguards as required under the DPDP Act and IT Act.
7. Your rights as a Data Principal
You may request access, correction, or erasure of your personal data, and a summary of processing, by emailing grievance@impulseshop.in. We will respond within the timelines under the DPDP Act. You may nominate another person to exercise these rights in the event of death or incapacity by writing to us.
